Ramadan is a special time for Muslims all over the world. It’s a time when people focus on helping the less fortunate, a time for friends to get together and most importantly a time for families to unite.
Among the signs of Ramdan in Egypt, You will see shops displaying the “Fanous” or the Ramadan lantern in different shapes, sizes and designs, from the traditional to the very modern. You can see different pastry shops selling oriental sweets like “konafa” and “qataef”.
In addition , you find a whole entertainment program specially broadcasted for Ramadan. each year the number of series and programs is more than the year before , therefore the criteria of choosing becomes more specific for audience.

ReplyDelete(Ramadan this year had 100+ series showing on different channels of which the best in my opinion was Ëlgama3a "Muslim Brotherhood")
This Ramadan was really special in the variety of TV series shown.
ReplyDeleteI think "Al Gama'a" was the best... whether on the technical side or the entertainment side, it was very interesting to watch
I also liked "El Haara" with its multiple characters & stories
As for commedy shows, i Liked "Ayza Atgawez" & "Al Kebeer".. though they were a bit silly, but they were fun to watch, some laughs were good after Iftar :-)
I join Yasmin with it all!! :)
ReplyDeleteAl Gama'a is the best, I'm starting to watch it for the second time now.
Here in Lebanon, people also spend a lot of time on watching the syrian series "Bab el Hara" but I think that having already reached the 5th season is too much for me!
